History of TK Energi
TK Energi was established in 1990 by Thomas Koch.
From the very beginning the company has focused on developing new technology within gasification and handling of biomass and waste. The company is now one of the leading suppliers of technology for designing, developing and producing medium sized gasifiers up to 1,000 MW and all kinds of connected large scale handling, drying and feeding systems.
The Company has highly skilled and educated employees within the areas of practical design, construction, welding, electronic control as well as having great, theoretical background enabling them to be specialists in their fields.
In 2006 the company has moved to new premises in the port area of the city of Køge, which is located 30 km. south of Copenhagen.
The city of Køge has excellent transport facilities including railways, highways and seaways.
The premises consists of a area of 30.000 m2 and 6000 m2 under roof divided into workshops for stainless steel alloys, black iron, ceramics, electricians, experimental workshops and large scale production buildings.
