TK Energy has participated in a large number of research, development and demonstration projects including:

Green Fuel Cell

Green Fuel Cell was a EU financed project with the aim of developing a reliable, up-scaleable and cost effective staged gasification system of biomass.
The role of TK Energi was to design and build a staged gasifier consisting of a pyrolyses bed, a char bed and a slagging combusting chamber.

Chris Gas

Chris Gas was also a EU financed gasification project. TK Energi´s role was to develop a 3 stage plug feeder for feeding biomass into a gasifier.

2.3 MW CHP-Plant

As a part of an other EU financed project TK Energi has developed and produced a prototype of a 2.3 MW gasifier. The gasifier can produce gas based on wood chips to substitute natual gas for production af electricity and heat in a local Central Heating Plant.

Slagging Waste Gasifier

TK Energi has participated in the project “High Temperature Slagging Gasifier for Waste”.  Compared to traditional waste incineration plants this system benefits of a gasification system with much higher energy and electricity efficiency, reduced emission and production of inert slag wich can be used as landfill.
